Duties and Responsibilities: Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eyeball. An ophthalmologist also specializes in medical and surgical eye problems. 

Salary: 197,700 annual 

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in medicine and  3 year ophthalmology 

Demand for profession: Slowly growing demand not very high
